Bad news. The weekend lie-in is bad for us apparently. Have just read an article in the beauty section of this month’s Porter magazine about how to boost your sleep. The key is to get in to a natural rhythm apparently. While the obvious stuff like late nights and jet lag can interfere with this, so can getting up at different times of day through the week. It seems that once you get behind on sleep you can’t really catch up, so lie-ins don’t really work. It’s all about getting in synch and setting a regular night-time pattern to try to stay that way.
