Known as moving meditation, this most gentle of the Asian martial arts has been found to have benefits for both the body and the mind. According to the principles of traditional Chinese Medicine the combination of focusing on your body and the smooth, gentle movements combine to help the flow of chi, or ‘inner energy’ around the body. Good for the blood pressure, stress levels and for improving balance and maintaining movement of the joints.
