There's no avoiding the ❄️  ❄️ arctic cold spell this week. Here are a few tips to help you fall asleep more quickly and to avoid shivering in bed in the early hours when the temperature reaches is lowest:

Have a bath just before you go to bed

This will warm you up and will also help to make you sleepy.

The extra layer under the covers can help improve circulation.

Layer up with blankets 

Layer up with blankets to maintain a constant temperature throughout the night. It's also easier to remove if you get too hot in the night.
