MINDSET WITH COACH CLEM
We had such a lovely evening with Coach Clem last night at our Mindset Coaching for Better Sleep session. A big thank you to all of you who managed to make it through the stormy weather for the event. Here are three top tips that really resonated with us
- Why do the voices in our head come to life after dark? When we distract ourselves through the day our thoughts build up in the background waiting for the night and their time in the spotlight. So if you can create some space in the day to process them and you'll got to bed with less mental chatter
- Sit up before you lie down - Get your brain quiet before you lie down or as your body rests your mind takes over. Spend a little while, with a book, doing a hand massage, listening to some music or mediating in the seated position to quieten the mind before you fully lie down. This also works wonders if you wake in the night and your mind is racing
- Be aware of your inner critics – We all have inner voices that act as our judges as we mull over the day. To combat these you need to understand that they are. The more you understand them the better you can deal with them . Try this test to identify yours now
