SPOTLIGHT: MENTAL REST
Struggling to switch off? When your brain is working overtime that’s often a sign that it needs a bit of time out and some mental rest
Too often when we manage to settle down for some physical rest our minds continue to race with worries about the past and anxieties about the future. What’s more, mental downtime enhances our creativity, problem-solving abilities, and emotional resilience. Learning to slow down your mind and just let your thoughts drift a while is an essential aspect of mental rest, but it’s often easier said than done
Next month coach Clem Harding will be sharing some ‘Calmer Minds’ techniques in her Mindset Workshop at our Kiss the Moon store. Everyone is welcome. Book your ticket here
