SPOTLIGHT: PHYSICAL REST
To stay fully well our body needs exercise and movement as much as it needs sleep. However, there’s also something in between which we need to build in to our daily routine - the time to be still and slow right down, to do absolutely nothing and let our body enjoy some physical rest
Taking the time to lie still allows our muscles to relax, our mind to unwind and lets the body redirect energy to restoration and recovery. So take a tip from us, put ten minutes aside each day to take a little lie down. Get comfy, breathe deeply and just be. And if you happen to drop off into a micro nap - then let yourself
